The Frikarusellen 2025/26 is a winter series held at Espeland Sports Ground in Arna. The third race takes place on November 26, 2025, starting at 7:00 PM, with bib number pickup from 6:00 PM. Despite the cold weather and icy sections, it was an evening of strong performances and good spirits, with 106 participants completing the race.

Highlights

  • A significant dropout among the over 200 registered participants, yet it was still an evening of strong performances and good spirits.
  • Distance of 5 km, officially measured for the first time in 2000 and again in 2018.
  • NOTE! Excavation work about 400 m from the start, where everyone must run up onto the sidewalk, outside the barriers.
